Tamara works with a variety of mental health concerns and specializes in working with individuals experiencing eating disorders and poor relationships with their body. She aims to understand her clients’ experience with food and their bodies so she can work together with them to find solutions that fit best for each unique client.
Her approach is very collaborative and goal-oriented, as she strives to focus on helping individuals develop the skills they need to change their life in a way that works for them. In her therapeutic approach, she utilizes CBT, EFT, narrative, mindfulness and exposure techniques to help individuals gain a balance between learning how to control their thoughts and get reconnected with their body.

Kathleen Hernder
Kathleen graduated from the University of Alberta in 2013 and after working extensively with individuals with chronic health conditions and diabetes, she became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2015. She has been working through a weight-inclusive lens since 2017 and at this time she became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and received training on working with individuals with eating disorders. Kathleen works utilizing a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed and social justice oriented approach to care.
Kathleen’s philosophy centers on a collaborative model where clients are viewed as the foremost experts of their own experiences. She believes in fostering a partnership where clients are active participants in their own journey towards nourishment and improving their relationship with food. Working together with clients, she supports them to have food take up less of their mental energy so they can focus on what matters most to them.

Kalin started her career in private practice 8 years ago. Her core values have been an essential guide for her, which has translated into embracing the principles of a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed and social justice oriented approach to care. Kalin’s main area of focus includes supporting folks through eating disorder recovery, and also helping clients heal from disordered eating. She also has a special interest in supporting folks with ADHD.
She is deeply passionate about helping individuals replace judgement and punishment with compassion and curiosity. Kalin feels so grateful that she is able to do this work, and form meaningful relationships with her clients.
When she isn’t reading a new book or listening to a podcast, you can find Kalin sipping on a latte in her favourite coffee shop, cuddling with her kitty, or spending time with friends and family.

Tracey has over thirty years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist working in the community. She has provided OT services for clients in their homes and schools for a vast range of needs. Her expertise includes helping individuals with ASD, ADHD and AFRID. She is passionate about assisting those with picky eating and sensory processing issues and aims to help families understand the complex relationship between the mind, senses and eating concerns.
Her integrative therapy approach draws from Responsive Feeding Therapy, the Get Permission Approach, SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Method, and Sensory Integration training.
